There is a new Minnesota law for TV and Computer disposal. Effective
July 1, 2006, electronics containing cathode ray tubes (CRT’s)
cannot be placed in the trash in Minnesota.
A Cathode Ray Tube, abbreviated “CRT”, is the main component
in many television sets, computer monitors, video game machines,
video cameras, oscilloscopes and radar displays.
