Allied Waste "Recycle IT Right" ™	"Free" Programs
Peace of Mind: Dismantled in the United States. Proper environmental management of all Special and Hazardous waste, including lead, CRT glass, mercury, batteries, ink and toner, PCBs, phosphorous, cadmium, and beryllium.	The equipment is scavenged for re-marketable parts and commodities. Whole units or the scavenged remains are sold in developing countries or buried in landfills, abandoned or illegally dumped on roadsides, in lakes, and on public lands.
Fully Compliant: Highly regulated and fully compliant with all local, state and federal agencies including but not limited to: State Fire Marshal, Dept. of Labor, Environmental Protection Agency, Ramsey County Dept. of Public Health, Department of Transportation, OSHA, and client audits.	By not dismantling the equipment, these companies are not subject to the rigorous oversight associated with managing and disposing of Special and Hazardous waste. Cross docking is unregulated by any environmental authority.
Data Security: All equipment is sanitized or destroyed, eliminating unlawful use of any confidential or proprietary information contained on a hard drive, memory, network device, fax machine or printer memory. This service protects against unauthorized acquisition of emails, financial statements, personal information, memos, customer data, confidential reports, and employee information.	Confidential information remains on the equipment. When resold un-sanitized units can be mined for this highly sensitive data.
Transparency: Downstream audits of our material processors ensure there is no client liability for costly environmental clean up expenses.	Environmental responsibility remains the obligation of the original owner. Clean up expenses for illegal dumping will be charged back to you once ownership is traced.
